Russell Pollitt

Russell Pollitt SJ is the Director of JISA. He was ordained in 2006. Russell has had extensive experience with media outlets, served in many sections of the SACBC and has directed many retreats, courses, training programmes and workshops.

Ursula

Ursula van Nierop

Ursula is the Deputy Director of JISA. Ursula is involved in the day to day management of the Institute Office and the various projects and programmes that JISA offers.

Abigail

Abigail Dawson

Abigail is the Advocacy Coordinator for JISA. As a qualified social worker, Abigail counsels and advocates for migrant women and children to ensure equitable communities for all people living in South Africa

Puleng

Puleng Matsaneng

Puleng works in Spirituality and researches Ignatian Spirituality in an African context. Puleng is involved in spiritual accompaniment and directs retreats and courses for JISA.

Morongoa

Morongoa Selepe

Morongoa works in Spirituality especially with youth and promotes the integration of Ignatian Spirituality into the African worldview. Morongoa is involved in spiritual accompaniment and directs retreats and courses for JISA.

Annemarie

Annemarie Paulin-Campbell

Annemarie Paulin-Campbell is a registered Psychologist and her primary focus is the training and supervision of spiritual directors. Annemarie contributes to international conferences and consultations in Spirituality and directs retreats and training programmes for JISA.

Frank

Francis Tuson

Francis (Frank) is involved in JISA’s media profile, producing short films and documentaries to highlight the work of JISA. With his extensive experience in this field, he is well suited to this role.

Gill

Gillian Hugo

Gillian works on and maintains the media presence of JISA as well as directing retreats and workshops specifically, for children/parents to help with Christian formation. Developing the area of “growth mindset” and “mindfulness” is also part of her role.
