Reflection for the Second Sunday of Lent – Year A

Join Fr Russell Pollitt, SJ, as he reflects on the 2nd Sunday of Lent. This week he looks at how Lent is inviting us to ‘exercise’ our spiritual muscles. This is a challenge like any exercise – to make sure that we do that extra ‘exercise’. It is through spiritual ‘exercise’ that we come to understand Jesus’ identity and mission – which is also our identity and mission.

You can find the texts in your bible. Read them and then join Fr Russell and listen to the reflection: Genesis 12:1-4; Psalm 33; 2 Timothy 1:8-10 & Matthew 17:1-9.

For the Season of Lent we have also included a meditation after the reflection.
