Reflection for the Second Sunday of Advent – Year B

There are many interesting and great figures which we are introduced to in the Season of Advent. We, right at the beginning of the Gospels, meet people like Mary, Joseph, Elizabeth the Shepherds, the Wise Men, Simeon and Anna. Today we are introduced to another key player in the events that unfolded around the birth of Jesus: John the Baptizer. Let’s reflect, this Sunday, on some of the details of John’s life and see what he teaches us about how we should wait for the Lord.

Join Fr Russell Pollitt SJ as he reflects on the readings for the 2nd Sunday of Advent.
