8-Day Retreat: Annemarie Paulin-Campbell, Matthew Charlesworth SJ and Sue Edwards, a Jesuit Institute trained director, took 15 retreatants through an individually-guided 8-Day retreat at St Dominic’s. Retreatants came from around the country to spend quality time with God. The beauty of the sea, the sunrises and a spectacular moon-rise helped to draw people into the space of encounter with God.

Namibian Catholic Bishops’ Conference: Anthony Egan SJ gave a talk on Church-State Relations and Catholic Social Teaching at the Namibian Catholic Bishops’ Conference, the Namibian Catholic Parliamentary Liaison Office and assorted guest dignitaries (including the Chief Justice of Namibia). His talk argued that Catholic Social Teaching helped resolve the breakdown in church-state ‘diplomatic relations’ in late 19th Century Europe – and that today CST-rooted dialogue is in fact good for church, state and public policy.

Expanding Horizons: In our latest podcast, Russell Pollitt SJ talks to Judy Klipin about life coaching, burnout and her new book.

Judy is a Martha Beck certified Master Life Coach, she offers individual, group and corporate coaching and workshops. She is the author of Recover from Burnout. Burnout wreaks havoc in multiple areas of our lives, as she herself discovered from personal experience.
