Archdiocese of Johannesburg: Institute of Theology
The Jesuit Institute is presenting a two-year course in Theology.
Initially designed for the training of deacons, this course is popular among lay people wanting to broaden their knowledge of the faith.
As a new departure, laypeople are invited to attend individual modules.
Six modules will be taught in 2008:

Ecclesiology: May 20 to June 24

The Church in the Modern World: July 22 to August 26
Sr Biddy-Rose Tiernan SND and Fr Peter Knox SJ
Moral Theology: September 2 to October 7
Fr Anthony Egan SJ
Church History: October 21 to November 25
Fr Rodney Moss
Classes are held on Tuesday evenings, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Trinity Hall, beside the Catholic Church in Braamfontein.
The cost is R 130 per module, including course material and tea.
