By telling us that story of the Magi, Matthew is trying to say something about the radicalness of the Kingdom of God and its implications for us.

The magi were not just holy visionaries or whimsical religious figures; they were willing to risk – their money, their time and their energy, and perhaps even their lives –  to seek out someone who would bring true peace and fulfillment. We are invited to the same radical living and this feast teaches us five things about the kind of lives we are called to live. Join Fr Russell Pollitt SJ as he reflects on these five challenges.
