Sèan-Patrick Lovett, Director of Vatican Radio’s English Language Section, will be speaking at the Jesuit Institute on 19 October, 2016, at 7pm. Lovett is author of a best-selling book with St Teresa of Calcutta. All are welcome!

Lovett was born in Cape Town of Irish parents. He received a Doctorate in Communications from the American University, Rome. In 1977 he started working at Vatican Radio. He has served at Vatican Radio under five Popes: Blessed Paul VI, John Paul I, Saint John Paul II, Benedict XVI, and Francis.  He followed John Paul II on many international pilgrimages for 26 years.

He is currently Professor of Social Communications (including Media and Management) at the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome – and has been since 1988. He is also Vice President of CREC International, coordinating communications courses worldwide (including media workshops with politicians, managers, church hierarchy, associations for disabled…)
